It is wired, you need to plug in to your computer, uses a USB A, no PS2 or any of the old connections. Wired means you don't need another thing on bluetooth, and you don't need to recharge it, always powered up. The bigger font and bolder print is really nice, for anyone, not just older people. It is a normal full size keyboard, the question mark, punctuation, arrow keys are all in the right place. Love the number pad, so much easier than using the numbers up above. Even with the number pad, it's still a nice size. And, really love the lighting! Just looking so cool at night, or even during the day, but really cool in a dark room. You can change the colors and the brightness. Keyboard seems to be very well made. Key action is good, but a little shallow for my tastes. The keys feel good, easy to find the keys without looking, for touch typing, spacing is good. The mouse is better than normal, has more functions directly on the mouse than the normal. Also plug in, which I find a little annoying, but workable. Nothing sticks. A good value for a better than normal keyboard. Large print and lights are definitely the part that puts it over the top.

This large print keyboard and mouse combo works exactly as expected. The oversized letters are easy to read, which makes typing much more comfortable, especially in lower light. The backlighting is a nice touch too plenty of color options and brightness levels to choose from depending on the room.Setup was simple plug-and-play with no hassle. The mouse feels responsive, and the DPI settings are useful for dialing in cursor speed. Overall, it’s a solid everyday setup that does what it promises without any issues.

This keyboard's "claim to fame" is probably the large print on the buttons. Especially for someone maybe elderly or with vision problems, the letters are big and easy to see. I am s BIG fan of backlit keyboards, and this one is great for that - no fancy and distracting flashing of RGB LEDs, etc, but a good backlight with adjustable brightness and several colors available (see my video!) On the bad side, it's a "Chicklet style" keyboard, which while effective, is definitely not made for a touch typist. It is also made potentially a little cheaply. The packaging didn't have much padding, and mine came with one screw already broken out of the plastic, which means the corner of the keyboard wasn't able to be tightened. I could probably glue it, but it didn't impact the keyboard's usefulness. I would say better shipping packaging or slightly better build quality would fix this, but like I said... it worked. Not sure it would survive many drops onto a hard floor though. The included mouse was nice. Ergonomic design, and optical sensor. It has a feature I've never seen on a mouse before, in that the buttons that sit under your hand as you hold it actually adjust the speed of the mouse pointer, separate from any OS setting. In otherwords, press the toggle toward the front of the mouse, and the cursor will move faster, press the one toward the back and it would go slower. I checked, and it was NOT adjusting the setting in the OS, so this is just changing the sensitivity of the actual optical sensor in the mouse, and it worked well. I dont think I'd ever need to change it once set, so it's kind of a gimmick perhaps, and I'd rather if I could reprogram these buttons, but still a cool feature. Scrolling was smooth, and not impacted by the mouse speed control one way or another. It has the thumb buttons for forward and back, which I have come to rely on with any mouse I use. Bottom line, I would definitely buy this for a child who is learning to use a computer, or someone elderly who needs larger type. I wouldn't want it to be my primary keyboard on an office computer, but it is fine for what it is.

I wanted to try a nice size backlit keyboard to help while I am up early and do not want to turn the lights on. The X9 is a good choice, the price point is hard to beat. The keyboard backlight can be changed to different colors, which is a nice feature. The keyboard is a full function keyboard with a full number pad and a print screen button (I prefer a dedicated print screen button) .The keys themselves are large and sit up higher on the keyboard than other recent keyboards I have used. They are not mechanical keys, but as far as they travel they have a mechanical key feel to them. If you are typing books the extra key travel may be either a bother or a delightful liberating feeling. I quickly adapted to the feel.I like the keyboard and plan on using it for the foreseeable future.The mouse is a different story. I love a good solid mouse designed specifically for right hand use. (Lefties fight your own battles). The mouse has a substantial feel to it and makes a satisfying click, but it feels like it is ambidextrous, and not particularly good at it. Pick a lane. Make a righty or a lefty. I will continue to use my older mouse.I do prefer corded accessories. No batteries or charging for me thank you.I believe the keyboard by itself is worth the price. The mouse is a bonus, if you find it useful.
