This X9 Performance keyboard and mouse set was easy to install and use with my MacBook. Both the mouse and keyboard have excellent ergonomic designs, and the wrist rest makes them comfortable to use. I also appreciate that the keyboard includes the Apple commands printed on the keys. I did not enjoy typing on the keyboard; it required substantially more effort to push the keys than my Apple keyboard, and at times required two pushes of the same key. I'm also unable to use the mouse as a left-hander because the ergonomic design is specific to right-handers. Overall, it's a nice keyboard and mouse set, but it didn't work for me, and I find the price on the high end.

I have been using this keyboard for about a month now, and I am very happy with it! The keys respond well without over responding and the white backlight stays on much longer during inactivity (about a minute) than previous multi-colored gaming keyboards I've had, that max out at 20 seconds or so. As far as ergonomics are concerned, this X9 Performance keyboard has a slight hump situated left of center peaking at about the F6 key and is almost imperceptible from the flat keyboards that I normally use.Connection is virtually instantaneous for both items through the usual Bluetooth or dongle and set up easily with no app download required. My only gripe about this keyboard is that given its unique design, the X9 folks should offer a proprietary keyboard cover so debris is easily cleaned away and doesn't get under the keys. I eat at my desk, and as you can see in the pics there are particles on my keys, so I basically brush it off daily. I would gladly pay for a custom fit cover as an option if it was available.The mouse is very nicely weighted and feels solid, it glides nicely across my mouse pad, and is very responsive with intuitive controls, but initially it felt a bit too small for my hand. So, I decided to keep using the gaming mouse I have in the comparison photos as it fit my large hand better. As luck would have it, the gaming mouse right click key stopped working the day after I got this new set. Consequently, I have been using this X9 mouse and it’s much better build and performs better than the fancy looking gaming mouse and I’ve grown to really appreciate it. All in all, solid build to a very comfortable, well performing keyboard/mouse combo that is budget friendly!

I have used a large name brand 'Wave' keyboard for years because I find it much more comfortable to type on. My current one was getting pretty old and it was time for a replacement, so I decided to try the X9 Wave Backlit Wireless Keyboard and Mouse instead of sticking with the big name brand. The keyboard and mouse are made with quality materials and have very similar functionality to standard peripherals in the category. Set up was pretty quick - the keyboard connected immediately, but I had to cycle through the frequencies on the mouse twice before it connected to my laptop. Overall, I think this is a solid product, but for the additional $20-30, I'm too used to the feel of the big name brand keyboard to switch now, and will be buying that one new after all. If this is your first 'wave', I think it's a great product.

You really have to smash completely centered, on the 9 key in order to get it to work. All other keys seem to work as intended. I'm not sure that I like the fact that this is a USB rechargeable keyboard and mouse because I don't know how I will be able to tell when the mouse needs a recharge, other than it stops working and I can no longer work. The keyboard is supposed to blink a white light every second to let you know. And since both the keyboard and mouse are rechargeable , it should have come with two cords so you could charge both at the same time, but they only give you one, so it is a little of a pain and a gamble as to when the devices will stop working.The keyboard is quiet enough, with the exception of the space bar, it is the loudest of all of the buttons and of course it is used more often than any other key. The mouse is much quieter than the keyboard, probably the quietest mouse I have ever used.I love that it comes with a wrist rest for the keyboard, but why wouldn't you include one for the mouse? They both need it. The keyboard wrist rest fits into the back of the keyboard, so it is not a universal design, it is meant for this keyboard only. I am happy that the keyboard is backlit so I can see the keys easily as my keyboard sits down in a keyboard tray, it can get quite dark.

For a membrane chiclet keyboard, this is surprisingly nice. The padded wrist rest is a standout—far better than the hard plastic many premium brands ship now. Wireless range is solid (about 50 feet in open space with no dropouts), typing feel is fine, and battery life has been completely reasonable so far.It’s not a luxury mechanical setup, but it’s also not bargain-basement junk. A comfortable, well-priced combo that hits a very nice middle ground.

Works smoothly and nice feeling material

Bought this for a client's new mini computer and she specifically wanted the backlit feature. The rechargeable mouse and keyboard was a bonus. Keys feel solid with good tactile feedback and the palm rest is a nice ergonomic touch. Mouse is responsive and resolution can be adjusted to user's preference. Flexibility of choosing Bluetooth or 2.4G wireless adds extra value and versatility to this set.

When I received this keyboard and mouse everything was great. Easy to set up and connect to bluetooth. I liked the feel of the keyboard, although the kickstands don't angle it up very much so it seems pretty flat. None of the possitives matter in the end though. After useing this keyboard and mouse combo for 1 month and 3 weeks, and not daily, several of the keys on the keyboard have stopped working and nothing will fix that issue. It's fully charged, switched bluetooth channels and switched to wireless and back to bluetooth (note though - the F2 key is one of the nonfunctioning keys and I can't switch back to BT1, only BT2 on the F3 key). The Delete key, the (+=) key, the (-_ ) key, the (~`) key, the Esc Key along with the F1 and F2 keys all do not function. How long before all the keys fail? I'm guessing not much longer. I'm also not the only one this has happened to, there are many others. There are reviews here that have the same issue as well as many on the web.Sorry, this set turned out to be garbage.

Keyboard appears to be nice. I like how the letters light up but if you type too fast or sometimes just regularly, you'll get multiple double characters or missed characters. I thought it might be due to being connected with bluetooth but it happens with the dongle also. It's ok but would look for something different next time for sure

It Worked well for my surface pro and android devices

If you do not get a defective one it would probably be a great keyboard - when I got mine it was pretty easy to set up, felt pretty good, keys pressed pretty well but the "R" key on mine would not work well at all. I read up and people / AI said to charge it, clean it (blow air under) etc. Did all of that and had no success, the R key still is a hit and miss, and now there are other keys that don't work all the time. I ended up getting a different keyboard (The customer service / return process is not worth it for my sanity) and it is night and day, a bit more spendy though I think - not sure if I'm allowed but I'll try anyways, I purchased the Logitech MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard. It's not as ergonomic but I came from a laptop keyboard so the flat style is better for me. In case anyone is spending hours researching / trying to find something good like me. You can find my review there if you are interested in my findings.I do have to say though this X9 keyboard would be awesome if not for the defects (seems some other users have similar experiences).
